About the House

Iniskeel (Irish translation: Behind the Sea) is situated at the end of a private, seashell-lined lane. The house was built in 1954 as our family vacation home. It boasts five bedrooms and two full bathrooms; unforgettable ocean views and picture perfect sunsets.

We sit waterfront on the bend in Oyster River with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. The house is just steps to the water, one mile to beautiful Harding?s Beach and approximately two miles to downtown Chatham.

We have just completed our second floor renovations in the spring of 2007 and they look terrific! The large bathroom is clean, fresh, and finished off in a Pottery Barn style. The bedrooms have had their wallpaper stripped and have been painted with cool, inviting colors. The bed quilts are all new, and the new cedar roof adds a traditional and beautiful Cape Cod look.

Bedrooms:
Tenants are to supply their own bed linens and towels. Mattress pads, quilts, pillows, and extra blankets are provided by the homeowner.
